Hardware and Software Requirements

♦  Hardware specifications are based on recommended specifications for Microsoft Operating Systems.  For optimal performance, refer to the recommended hardware specifications.  It is required to have MS SQL Server and IIS Server software.  This Microsoft software and our Enterprise software can be installed on a single server, two separate servers, or in a clustered environment.

Minimum Requirements:

►  500 MB RAM

►  Pentium Class Processor

►  Windows Server that is NOT a domain controller

►  MS SQL Server 2000 or MS SQL Server 2005

►  1 GB IIS Server space

►  500 MB SQL Server space

►  ASP.NET enabled on the IIS Server

►  Microsoft .Net Framework v2.0 on IIS machine and SQL Server

►  Internet Explorer 6 or higher on clients

Recommended Specifications:

►  1 GB RAM or more

►  2 GB IIS Server space (or as needed for digital media attachments over the life of the product)

►  1 GB SQL Server space

►  Internet Explorer 6 or higher on clients

Prerequisites Before Installing Report Exec Enterprise:

In order to install and run Report Exec Enterprise, your server will need to meet these install requirements:

►  Server with Microsoft Windows Software installed and NOT a domain controller.

►  Server must be running IIS 5.0 or higher.

►  Server must be running SQL Server 2000 or 2005 (can be a separate server from IIS).

►  IIS Server and SQL server must have Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 installed.

►  IIS Server must have the ASP.NET Service turned on (enable the service in Add/Remove Windows Components, Application Server, ASP.NET).

►  Must have SA rights to the SQL server in order to install the database.

►  Must have Admin access to the IIS server in order to install the web applications.
